Honestly, South of East Asia, will be always my place to scape and disconnect. Now is time for Philippines, one country with more than 7k islands, who is going to find you over there?. Switch off the IT devices and go with the flow!
The route is Manila, Coron, Palawan, Cebu and Bohol. Almost 2 weeks, 4 transoceanic flights, 1 thyphoon, 4 domestic flights and 2 ferries.
Once I arrived to Manila the Typhoon “Lekima” was over the country almost leaving to Taiwan, I have never seen something similar! We took the ferry to Coron and the snorkel is pretty good, we didn´t know yet what will be coming.
After we arrive to El Nido, Palawan, the most famous and touristic place. Already plenty of people, so harry up before it gets more and more touristic! the best plan is to take a private boat and take one of the four tours, just the best way to enjoy the small islands around and its amazing snorkel.
BTW, plastic is forbidden! bring a bottle and for a nice price you can fill it up everywhere. What an amazing way to control and take care of your country and planet. Bamboo straws are the best!.
Realmente, el Sudeste Asiático, es siempre mi lugar preferido de escapada y desconexión. Esta vez toca Filipinas, un país con mas de siete mil islas. ¿Quién te va a encontrar ahí?. disfruta, desconecta todos tus aparatos y déjate llevar!
El itinerario del viaje es Manila, Coron, Palawan, Cebu y Bohol. con 4 vuelos transoceánicos, 1 tifón encima nuestro, 4 vuelos domésticos y 2 ferris.
Una vez que llego a Manila me encuentro con el tifón encima nuestro, menos mál que su camino era irse hacia Taiwan, por lo que sólo nos tocó el último coletazo. ¡Nunca he visto cosa igual!. Cogimos el ferry hacia Coron dónde el snorkle fue super chulo, pero nada comparable a lo que nos esperaba.
Después fuimos al Nido, Palawan. Uno de los lugares más turísticos de la zona, que ya está siendo explotado, por lo que recomiendo ¡ir cuanto antes!. El mejor plan allí es cogerse una excursion privada de las 4 que hay, y así podrás disfrutar mejor de las islas de alrededor, el snorkle es fabuloso en la zona, mini calitas,…
Antes de que se me olvide, la zona está phohibida de plástico ¡es genial!, lo mejor es llevarte una botella e ir rellenándola por un precio muy asequible en cualquier lado. Una forma de cuidar el país y el planeta. por lo que las bebidas de las sirven con pajitas de bambú.
